Infrastructure Coming to South Bengaluru
The transport network around Kanakapura Road is still filling in, and the next pieces are already visible. The Yellow Line, open since August 2025, gives the township a metro route to Central Silk Board and Electronic City with one change at Rashtreeya Vidyalaya Road. As at 24 September 2026, the Pink Line's elevated stretch along Bannerghatta Road, Kalena Agrahara to Tavarekere, is complete and awaiting its opening. A 24 km Green Line extension from Silk Institute to Harohalli is at the feasibility-study stage; it is not sanctioned. Kanakapura Road meets the NICE Road interchange about 6.7 km by road to the south-west of the township.
